Rachel Boguski brings people together through meaningful community-based work.
For over 20 years, Rachel has produced large-scale exhibitions and community events where diverse groups can connect with the work of Canadian artists and creatives. Her event experiences have been described as ethereal, welcoming, immaculate and comfortable beyond words.
Marrying two decades of work in arts and culture with communications, media relations and public relations expertise, Rachel continues to fulfill her passion of supporting and protecting the work of all creators.
She is a founding director of Neighbourhood Society, former production manager of Art Toronto, and co-founder of the former Refresh Market. Her creative vision, discerning eye, editorial voice and tone, artistic direction for the decade-long event encouraged a continued gathering of talent that helped to establish a new wave of creative culture in Squamish, B.C. In 2022, Rachel co-founded Neighbourhood Society in support of local artists and creating greater community access to arts and culture. The Society hosts inclusive arts events including Neighbourhood Craft, a celebration of west coast art, craft, food and design bringing together artists, makers and growers.
Rachel lives and works on the traditional territory of the Sk̲wx̲u7mesh Úxumixw (Squamish Nation).
